I get comments like this one all the time on YouTube NUKE LIES:

The weird (telling) thing about it is that they are almost always from people with video game excerpt videos on their page. I don't get it - it must be standard protocol for fusion center operatives' YouTube channels.

Your main video has got more hits than all mine put together. (Well ... it had very roughly a year's start). As compensation for the smaller numbers, mine seem to get more intelligent commentators - maybe the complicated wording puts the simpler types off, or maybe my style of replying does. I had some quite unpleasant emails from 'blingerninja', though I wouldn't think he'd be an 'operative' of any sort....

NL - it just struck me 'nuke lies' is of course a computer-friendly short phrase... my nuke videos now have 'NUKE LIES' in their titles. With luck that'll mean better visibility in search engines! I too can have the dubious pleasure of dealing with FurryRoo etc. [Note added 1 hour later - it's worked!]

Rerev - the hit counter is definitely being deliberately slowed down now on YouTube - I'm no longer suspicious of it -- I know it. I get just as many comments as I ever have, but the counter only goes up a few hits every once in a while.

Doesn't really matter though because we're getting listed all over the place on Google.

I'm not sure. Youtube claims to be having some update issues, relating to migrating data. Maybe they're moving to new equipment; maybe they've had to add more of the same equipment; maybe it's some hassle related to their format change; maybe some government action is making them save data they didn't save before; maybe some disgruntled employee did something... There was a message this morning, stating in effect they have finished doing the hardware/ software changes & are now reinstalling their data. I agree though the figures do look a bit low - especially when you see large numbers of very mediocre videos with much larger numbers of hits creidted to them.
