Sure? My barometer only indicates pressure, unit Pascal. Why should it indicate the density of the medium (air)? I am not interested in that. Only the pressure the medium (air) applies on the Earth.

Density matters to anything or anyone using aerodynamics. But we are off topic now. How does this pertain to faked anything?

You misunderstood the function of a barometer? Or does US navy barometers record air density?

I use barometers as a student pilot. I used to use them when stationed on a submarine. I had to know air pressure (density) to compare to the gas samples I took from the primary plant while it was operating.

Are you trying to keep this thread off topic because you have no idea how to support the notion that the moon landings were faked?

No, I am just mystified of you using a barometer inside a submarine. Or inside an aeroplane with pressurized interior for that matter. But, OK. You are interested in the density of air and YES, it depends on the air pressure recorded by e.g. a barometer or pressure gauge. I am happy that we agree on this point. FYI, the air pressure on the Moon is 0 due to lack of air there. That's why there are no barometers on the Moon.

I never said I was using a plane with a pressurized cockpit. You do understand that altimeters in any cockpit are designed to cope with changing air pressures in the interior? The desire to know air pressure in a sub is not unusual as it uses high pressure air some of which is vented to the interior at times.

Gee, thanks for telling me that there is no air on the moon. Do you have anything meaningful to add to this thread?

I always try to be helpful to US Navy people, knowing their lack of ... understanding. Once one of my ships in ballast - no cargo - was stopped on open seas (in the sound of Tiran) by the US Navy ship with big guns that wanted to know something (why we sailed between Nuweibah and Suez (two Egyptian ports) with no cargo). The US navy ship sent over a little boat with a young officer and heavily armed marines or seamen. They were welcomed aboard. Normally we don't allow armed people aboard our ships but sometimes we make exceptions. We offered a cup of tea! No. No drinks! They wanted to know who we were. We introduced ourselves. And who are you? No answer! They wanted to search our ship. Why not? You don't argue with armed pirates or similar. In one hold the officer found a 20' container! Very suspicious. In ballast? No cargo? A TEU!
What is it, asked the young officer. A TEU! Cargo? No. But what, then?? Spare parts for the ship. Always good to carry.
And that was the end of the stupid US navy visit. Luckily I knew that USA has no nuclear arms since 1945 - it is all PRopaganda - and more Mickey Mouse so there was no need to argue.
