Thanks, you just reminded me of something I wanted to say, and forgot.

A few nights ago, I fell asleep with the radio on, and I awoke early in the morning, there was a preacher saying America/Babylon would be destroyed by fire, and that that fire was nuclear weapons.

He said one statement that caught my attention, "The only reason it hasn't happened yet is the restraining arm of Almighty God."

Ok, then, this gets into deep philosophy: Would God give such power to man, only to have to then restain him from using it?

And, oh yeah, the preacher said the usual, there was a blinding flash, and in an instant, eighty thousand people died.

Back to the original question: Where in nature is there a nuclear explosion?

You should do research into the origins of the Big Bang Theory. There are connections to the Babylonian Kabalah, and the jewish Talmud, or Misnah.

What a weird discussion. However can I just point out that Oppenheimer's 'Destroyer of Worlds' thing is from the Bhagavad Gita, part of Hindu writings. I think someone must have specially dug this up - I simply can't believe Oppenheimer had a deep interest in Oriental religious writings.

It sounds phoney to me also. Someone may have dug it up beforehand, so Oppy would have something to say.
