My Jadar entry on the Australian website alor.org
which seems to have been founded by Eric Butler, but taken over by Social Credit supporters.
Easy online sources say Eric Dudley Butler (1916-2006) founded the South Australian League of Rights in 1946, which he led until 1992. What happened in 199 isn't clear to me. Nor the organisation's title: I don't know if 'South' and/or 'Australian' were included.
Online sources as usual (2021) describe him as 'virulently anti-semitic', 'extreme right', 'hateful', 'anti-Communist' and other typical distractions. He seems to have been pro-white Rhodesia, though I haven't found any Jewish supporters online explicitly supporting Mugabe.
My interest in Butler was as a result of some comment or suggestion that Butler wrote, soon after the 1945 Jewish victory of the Second World War, a piece on Hitler as a part of world Jewry. I have no idea if this piece was short or long, or expanded into new versions, or co-written. Several writings of Butler are mentioned online, with little useful information. The name Eric Butler led me to alor.org, as far as I remember. I'd guess Butler's views were censored as quickly as possible.]
Butler wrote some books (I haven't found out how many). Some were published by his League of Rights, though I don't know if they sold widely outside Australia.
If someone out there has any original documents or books/newspapers, or information on Butler's life, or the publisher R M Osborne, I'd be happy to put them online. They'd need some evidence of genuineness. Email me!
At present, this site has just two pieces attributed to Butler:
1940: The Enemy Within the Empire (pdf file format)
Eric Butler on the Bank of England (HTML format, the standard Internet style for documents. Long, detailed history. Somewhat the same style as Jane Birdwood, about 30 years later)
