Tory Councillor Admits Rape and Four Other Sex Offences, including Underage Girl

A Tory councillor has admitting to five sex offences involving three girls, one of them being a charge of rape. Stephen Mullins, 52, has been a member of Norwich North Conservative Association (NNCA) for about two years and a Hellesdon parish councillor for about the same time.

Mullins, who worked as head chef in the kitchen of the Bull pub in Reepham Road, Hellesdon, for 17 years until April this year, appeared at Norwich Crown Court.

He admitted two offences of indecent assault against one girl under 14, between August 22, 1999 and August 21, 2000, and between August 22, 2000 and August 21, 2002. He also admitted rape involving the same girl between August 22, 1999 and August 21, 2002.

He also admitted sexual assault on April 3, 2008, on another girl aged 14 and assault on April 14, 2008, on another young girl.

He was remanded in custody to await a pre-sentence report and is due to be sentenced at Norwich Crown Court on September 1.

Patrick Cutter, landlord at the Bull pub, said: “As a business we want to draw a line under it. He won't be working for me any more.”

  3. If this had been someone associated with the BNP then this story would've gone national. However, because this Tory specimen belongs to the party whom the media wish to install as our next government we shan't be expecting this one to be appearing in The Daily Mail anytime soon!

  4. I know it is not a nice comment but we must endeavour to have a candidate in the subsequent by election. This person to campaign against such diabolical individuals who consider themselves above the LAW.

    Add to that the SNP Councillor, Jahangir Hanif, who took his children to a possible terrorist training camp on the Kashmir / Pakistan boarder for a “day trip” so they could learn how to fire AK47s. In prepreation for what, I wonder?

  7. Can someone please explain to me the employment arrangements for a councillor. Are they paid, is it a full-time or a part-time job or can it be either? I ask because the paedophile above seems to have been both a councillor and a chef at the same time.

  8. There must be an uninhabited island somewhere in the Outer Hebrides where EVERY child molester could spend the rest of his life after conviction, NEVER to set foot on the mainland again, NEVER to set eyes on a human female again.

    Unless of course the offender has killed his victim, in which case he should receive the appropriate treatment - 50ml of sodium pentothal.
